Hiawatha Daily World Saturday, March 30, 1912 Front Page Column 3 DEATHS. Hinton - J. D. Hinton died at his home near Hamlin Wednesday night, March 27. He had been sick over a year, his illness beginning when he was gored by a bull. He had been confined to the house since November. He was 73 years old and came to Brown county 37 years ago when he settled on the farm where he died. Besides his wife he leaves four sons: J. D. Hinton, Jr., Will Hinton and Andy Hinton, of Hamlin; and Frank Hinton, of Komalty, Okla., and one daughter, Miss Grace Hinton. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Hamlin Baptist church conducted by Rev. Mr. Clark.
