J. W. KIMBELL IS
TAKEN BY DEATH
FUNERAL TUESDAY
Joseph Warren Kimbell, a pioneer of this county, and one of the county's most prominent farmers, died at his home in Prospect township Sunday, April 9, at 3:25 a.m. following a week's illness.
Funeral services will he held from the home Tuesday morning, April 11, at 10 o'clock. Rev. W. E. Bates, Baptist minister, will conduct the services. Interment will follow in the west cemetery.
Mr. Kimbell has been in feeble health for years. One week ago today, he fell from his spring wagon at his home and was rendered unconscious. He never fully recovered from the shock incident to the fall.
Mr. Eirnbel was born in Washington, Hemstead county, Arkansas, September 10, 1837. He was married to Miss Harriet Smith Foutch, at New Berlin, Ill, Oct. 4, 1877. To this union two children were born, John Foutch Kimbell and Harry Warren Kimbell. The latter died at New Berlin, Ill., February 2, 1902. The former now resides at Carrizozo, New Mexico. He is here for the funeral.
The family came to El Dorado from Hot Springs, Ark., in March, 1882, and have since resided here.
