WILLIAM LEAGUE, A PIONEER

RESIDENT OF BUTLER

COUNTY DEAD

William Rigley League, a pioneer resident of Butler County, died Sunday morning at 2 o'clock at his home 312 Walnut. He suffered a stroke

of paralysis Friday evening from which he died later. Mr. and Mrs. League and family moved to Augusta a number of years ago from their farm near Lorena where they settled at an early date. Mr. League was past 81 years of age. He leaves a wife and several grown children.

The funeral will be held from the house at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Interment will be in the Indianola cemetery.
