OBITUARY

William Pennington was borniin Lee Co., Virginia June 6th. 1845. He was married to Mary Litton Dec.10, 1865. He was the father of 12 children. He leaves to mourn his loss 7 children, 24 grand children and 3 great grand-children. He departed this life Dec 3, 1916 age 71 years 6 months and 28 days. He united with the Baptist church when a young man.

Mr. Pennington was a soldier in the Civil War and came toButler Co. in March 1887.

Funeral services were held al the Benton M. E. Church Tuesday at 11 o'clock by Rev. Blood.  Interment was made in the Enterprise Cemetery.
